Glen Burnie High School Signature Mission: Graduates will be instilled with the understanding, experience, innovative thinking, ethical standards, and techniques needed to meet current and future challenges facing our community and an understanding of the careers that help a community grow and thrive.

In the Public Service Signature Exploration course we explore service-oriented careers and contemporary issues affecting communities. Students apply critical thinking skills, analyze ethical standards, demonstrate leadership,  as well as reinforce research and presentation skills that will be applied in careers where they will serve the greater good.

A Signature is a 21st century workforce-relevant theme around which curricula, job shadowing, mentoring, co-curricular clubs, college courses, and internships are crafted. With a unique theme at each high school, Signature Programs are designed to excite, engage and prepare students for college and careers.
